Whenever I am out on a photography assignment, I always carry a notebook so that I can record pertinent details regarding the shoot. I find that a written record is far more accurate than my memory. After I return home, these notes are indispensible when processing the images for printing and inclusion on this website.

    While on more extensive expeditions, I tend to maintain a more formal journal of the trip. Several people, who know of my habit, have asked that I publish these journal entries on the website.

    I will be posting journal reports from my photo assignments at the same time, or shortly after the images from the expedition are posted.
